Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Telvoya eSIM — activation, compatible devices, top-ups, and more.
General Questions
No. Install your Telvoya eSIM once and keep it on your phone. When you travel somewhere new, just buy a data plan for that country — no second installation, no swapping SIM cards.
An eSIM is a digital SIM that's already built into your phone. Instead of inserting a plastic SIM card, you download a profile and connect to a local network over the air.
After you buy a plan, it appears in your account right away. If you don't have an account yet, one gets created for you. Follow the steps to add the eSIM, scan the QR code, and you should be on the local network within a few minutes.
Most iPhones from the XS onward and many newer Android phones support eSIM. Open your settings and look for "Add eSIM" or "Add cellular plan" — if you see it, your device should work with Telvoya.
